AceShowbiz - Tiffany Haddish has nothing but love for Common's current girlfriend, Jennifer Hudson. When addressing the couple's relationship, the comedienne said she wishes the pair were "having fun."

The 44-year-old briefly touched on Common and Jennifer's newly unveiled romance when appearing in the Wednesday, May 8 episode of "Making Space with Hoda Kotb" podcast. "I love Jennifer," she said. "I hope they’re having fun. Girl, please."

Tiffany also said that while "there's a lot of common men" in her new essay collection, out now, the Common himself is "not in" it.

Tiffany and Common split in November 2021 after dating for over a year. Revealing what led to their breakup, the emcee previously shared, "I don't think the love really dispersed. I think it was just like we weren't feeding the relationship." He added, "It was harder for me to balance all of that and keep the relationship fed."

In July 2023, Tiffany said it "wasn't mutual" and she revealed how he ended their romance. "It wasn't mutual," the 43-year-old told The Washington Post, noting that the rapper broke up with her over the phone. "It was more him saying, 'I think this relationship has run its course.' And I was like, 'Okay. Like you gonna be a 50-year-old single man. Okay?' "

While it ended in an abrupt way, Tiffany claimed what she had with Common was "the healthiest, the funnest relationship I've ever had." She also said it was the safest one given all the trauma she has with men.

On Hoda's podcast, Tiffany elaborated further, "It's like, you remember when you was a kid and you'd be on a play date, and y'all like playing, having a good time, and then all of a sudden, y'all like sliding down the slide, and then you turn around and go, 'Where did they go? Where did they - where'd they go?' " She added, "And you see them waving at you and they mama carrying them. And they're like, 'Byeee.' That's what it was like."
