Robert Pattinson and FKA twigs' romance reportedly has taken its toll due to their "time apart." The actor and singer, who got engaged in March, have been spending time apart living on different continents for quite some time.
Pattinson is currently in Belfast, Ireland, where he's filming his upcoming movie "The Lost City of Z", whereas twigs has been living in his L.A. home while working stateside, performing concerts and most recently appearing at last Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards. Pattinson is expected to be out of the U.S. for at least the next few months when he finishes shooting the film.
A source has told Gossip Cop that though the couple's engagement is still on, the long-distance relationship has created "obstacles, as it would for any couple." Besides, the "time apart has taken a toll" on them though Pattinson and twigs still have strong feelings for one another.
Representatives for both Pattinson and twigs declined to comment on the report. Both stars also have not yet addressed the matter.
