The new promotional art for the upcoming sci-fi movie, which is debuted ahead of 'Star Wars' new products and merchandise release, features one of the Stormtoppers riding a Speeder.

Disney has debuted another promotional artwork for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" which features one of the film's Stormtroopers and a Speeder mid-flight. The Stormtrooper wears a black armor while riding the vehicle seemingly in a high speed.
The promo art is debuted as an effort to remind people of "Force Friday", the release of "The Force Awakens" merchandise and toys. The events will take place across the globe beginning in Australia, Japan, and South Korea before moving to Europe, Latin America, and the U.S..
"Star Wars toys have always played an important role in how our fans interact with the saga," Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy says. The new products "will continue that tradition." To hold this kind of event is very reasonable because the existence of the film is also influenced by the toys. Meanwhile, product sales are key to the effort to keep the franchise remains in fans' heart.
The sales of the new products will start on September 4, but Disney has introduced the products through a video stream on "Star Wars" YouTube channel. "What you see on September 4 will then be refreshed with new characters as we get closer to the film, as the film introduces people to new characters," Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner said back in July. "We'll then have characters that will follow that in time for Christmas and into New Year. And then you will have new waves of product and characters that will come in first quarter, second quarter and throughout 2016."
"The Force Awakens" is set 30 years after the events of "Return of the Jedi". The film stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis and Domhnall Gleeson and will hit U.S. theaters on December 18.
