AceShowbiz - Melissa Rivers scattered her mother Joan Rivers' ashes in a place which holds fond memories for their family. The 47-year-old actress told Entertainment Tonight that she scattered some of her late mother's ashes in a place where they usually took annual family vacation together in Wyoming.
Melissa who stepped into her mom's role as host of "Fashion Police" said that she scattered the ashes last month when she had annual vacation with her son Cooper. "Coop and I took our annual family vacation to Wyoming [the] first [time] without my mom and scattered some of her ashes there so we can still be together every August as a family," she explained.
Regarding the anniversary of her mother's death, Melissa said she would hold it in a very low-key way. "Everyone expects me to have this big grand plan for the 4th and I am just going to be spending it with my son," She revealed. "He is going to go to school, I am going to go to work and come home and light a candle, and have a glass of wine."
"I think the most important thing is that Cooper is O.K.," Melissa said of her son. "Cooper and I talk about what would be the best way to honor her legacy, and the best way to honor her legacy is to be O.K."
The "Step Up" actress also posted some snaps of her Wyoming trip with Cooper. The snaps only showed her son enjoying the natural beauty of the western state. A caption of one of the pictures read, "We are back where the buffalo roam #wyoming #vacation."
