AceShowbiz - "Saturday Night Live" is adding a new face to its cast. Jon Rudnitsky is joining the NBC sketch series as a featured player for the upcoming season 41, which kicks off on October 3 with host Miley Cyrus.

Jon was born in Harrington Park, New Jersey and graduated from USC. The 25-year-old stand-up comic won the 2012 Laugh Factory's Laugh Bowl college comedy contest. He was also a participant in 2015 New Faces at Montreal's Just for Laughs festival.

Amy Schumer will mark her debut as "SNL" host on October 10 while Tracy Morgan will return to host the sketch series for the second time on October 17.

In other news, a brand new footage from one of "SNL" most memorable skits "Hobbit Office" starring Martin Freeman has emerged online. In the extra footage from the December sketch, a redheaded elf (Kate McKinnon) flirts with Bilbo Baggins a la Jim and Pam. The elf is seen teaching Bilbo how to dial the office phone before her boyfriend walks in on the interaction.

The clip also shows a Gollum-like employee (Taran Killam) eating a raw fish at his desk while Gandalf (Bobby Moynihan) interrupts his employees to joke about his staff and play with a stuffed dragon.
