Dean Ambrose was seemingly attacked by a crazed fan after a smackdown at a recent WWE live event. The professional wrestler was greeting fans lining up ringside when a man from the other side of the ring jumped the railing and ran towards the star.

The incident happened during a WWE Smackdown taping in Providence, Rhode Island. The man was tackled to the ground by a bodyguard as he reportedly tried to pounce on Ambrose. The 29-year-old wrestler was thankfully unharmed.

Rumor has it, the fan held a sharp object when he attempted the sneak attack. Ambrose looked on as the commotion happened but he quickly turned back to the crowd and raised his hands in victory. It's unclear what happened to the man after he was subdued by the security.
