Louis expresses his excitement about the upcoming premiere of the show's 12th season with his tweet which reads, 'So does X Factor start tonight/today ?'

AceShowbiz - Louis Tomlinson can't wait to return to "The X Factor" where it all started for him and his One Direction band mates. The British heartthrob has teased his upcoming appearance on the singing competition series as he posted a series of tweets on Wednesday, August 26.
"So does X Factor start tonight/today ?" he tweeted, followed by another which read, "Just the premiere tonight then ha ! Got my days mixed up !" He went on adding in another tweet, "Can't wait for it to start !!"
According to Yahoo! Celebrity UK, series creator and judge Simon Cowell confirmed that Louis would appear on the show. It's unclear in what capacity he will be involved in the new season of the reality series. An insider, however, tells E! News that the soon-to-be father "just seems to be looking forward to the new series."
The 12th season of U.K.'s "The X Factor" kicks off Saturday, August 29 on ITV. Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini (formerly known as Cheryl Cole) return as judges, joined by Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw on the panel.
