It has been confirmed that Rosie O'Donnell's daughter Chelsea O'Donnell was found at the New Jersey home of Steven Sheerer who allegedly has criminal past. After learning that her daughter was housed by the alleged ex-criminal, the talk show host became frantic and said on Twitter, "No mom is perfect - we all do our best."

Nevertheless, Rosie admitted that she had done her best for her daughter. "When someone u love is drowning in the rapids - u throw everything u can into the water - hoping they will grab on - stay afloat #believe," she said.

Unhappy with the fact that her daughter was found with an alleged drug abuser, she made public his alleged arrest records via Twitter. "Sheerer charged wthird-degree possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, third-degree possession of heroin," she wrote along with a picture of him shirtless.

Rosie's allegations against Steven was triggered by a 2012 Barnegat-Manahawkin Patch article which she pinned on her Twitter account. In the article, Steven was confirmed to have been charged with "possession of heroin," "endangering the welfare of a child" and "driving under the influence."

Though Chelsea was found at his home, he pled not guilty. "All of our information is that she was there voluntary," Lt. Keith Germain of the Barnegat Police Department told E! News. "We don't have anything that indicates that there would be criminal charges at this point."

"It looks like she ran away from up there and came down here and ended up at his residence," Keith added. The police officer could not put a label on their relationship but they had previously met when Chelsea was visiting Long Beach Island.
