Joe gets hot and heavy with Samantha, who is one of the latest additions to the show, while Carly and Kirk take their relationship to the next level by spending a night together.

AceShowbiz - "Bachelor in Paradise" returned on Sunday, August 16 to continue the last rose ceremony which was cut before Clare gave her rose. Clare was eventually back after sobbing. Ashley I. gave her rose to Jared, while Clare chose JJ. Mikey, Jonathan and Michael were sent packing.
After using Juelia to secure his place on the show, Joe got his wish which was a date with newcomer Samantha. Samantha got a date card as soon as she joined the show and she asked Joe on a date.
They went to a sexy photo shoot with People magazine, stripping down to their bathing suits and making out in the shower. Upon returning to the mansion, the two were inseparable, even showing their affection in front of Juelia. It turned out that Joe and Samantha had been in touch for a month before coming to the show.
Jared urged Joe to at least talk to Juelia, but Joe showed no remorse. Dan later told Joe to man up and talk to Juelia again, but he once again refused to apologize. Juelia then threatened to tell Samantha all about him.
Carly also got a date card and she went on a date with Kirk. They talked about their future. Carly had to miss her brother's wedding in Ireland which took place that day, and Kirk who initially had reservations about committing so early changed his mind. They took their relationship to the next level and spent a night in a hotel room together.
Dan, meanwhile, realized that he and Ashley S. didn't suit each other and decided to tell her about it. "Two nights ago, Ashley was like a whirlwind. She was emotional, and I just have a very low tolerance for out-of-character moments," Dan said. "It's so taxing." In her defense, Ashley S. said, "I'm not crazy."
Also in this episode, Megan from Chris Soules' "The Bachelor" season arrived. Dan had his eyes on Megan, but she asked JJ for a date. "If a trash bag had asked me out on a one-on-one date, I would have said yes and been really excited," JJ admitted since it's the first time he was asked out on the show. "The fact that it's a beautiful blonde makes this exponentially more exciting."
