Robert Pattinson and Budding Actor Strike Friendship in First 'Life' Trailer

Playing a photojournalist, Pattinson spends three whole months with Dane DeHaan's James Dean who is about to get very famous.

AceShowbiz - Robert Pattinson recognizes a talent and captures him in his pictures. The first trailer ofo "Life", a biopic of late actor James Dean, has been released to reveal two young men's friendship on the brink of their success.

Pattinson plays the role of a photographer who sees a potential in an unknown actor, played by Dane DeHaan. Dennis Stock is a photojournalist who is assigned to cover Dean's story for Life magazine after meeting the actor in a 1953 party. Together they embark on a journey to Los Angeles, New York and Dean's hometown of Indiana, striking an improbable friendship during those three months.

Anton Corbijn of "A Most Wanted Man" directs the film from the script by Luke Davis. The scribe mainly refers to the book "Beautiful Enigma: LIFE With James Dean", which was written by Stock and was published in 2005.

The film also stars Ben Kingsley and Joel Edgerton. It is yet to have a U.S. release date but will hit theaters in the U.K. on September 26.
