Jennifer Aniston might have missed someone in her wedding party with Justin Theroux taking place at their Bel Air home in Los Angeles. Among the guests who shared the special day with the couple, her mom Nancy Dow Aniston wasn't present at the lavish party.
Nancy, who reportedly reconciled with her daughter last year after years of estrangement, confirmed on Thursday, August 6 to Radar Online that she didn't attend the party at the couple's home. Despite her absence at the party, she was delighted for the newlyweds. "I think it's wonderful!" she told Radar. "Anything I say about Jennifer is super supportive."
Despite Nancy's big support to her daughter's wedding, Jennifer previously opened up about how "critical" her mother was. The 46-year-old actress said, "She was critical. She was very critical of me. Because she was a model, she was gorgeous, stunning. I wasn't. I never was. I honestly still don't think of myself in that sort of light, which is fine." She added, "She was also very unforgiving. She would hold grudges that I just found so petty."
The "Friends" alum, who is reportedly flying to Bora Bora for honeymoon, also revealed that her mother's temper was hard to deal with. "We're all fine [now]. She had a temper. I can't tolerate that. If I get upset, I will discuss [things]. I will never scream and get hysterical like that," she revealed. "[But] I was never taught that I could scream. One time, I raised my voice to my mother, and I screamed at her, and she looked at me and burst out laughing. She was laughing at me [for] screaming back. And it was like a punch in my stomach."
