Daniel Jorgensen, a former member of Owl City band, has been charged with criminal sexual contact. The 30-year-old musician was indicted by a grand jury in New Jersey for allegedly having inappropriate contact with a 14-year-old fan back in 2013.

During a concert in Atlantic City, Jorgensen who played guitar in the backing band for Adam Young's one-man electronica act allegedly had sexual contact with the girl on the beach and then tried to lure her to his hotel room and the band's tour bus to have sex.

Jorgensen was fired from the band after the allegations came to light. "As of this weekend, we have terminated Daniel Jorgensen's employment and all involvement as a touring member of Owl City," manager Steve Bursky said back then. "Please understand that this business decision does not implicate Daniel in the judicial system, but was both necessary and appropriate given the allegations that have surfaced over the last handful of days."
