'Norm of The North' First Official Trailer Arrives
Movie

Check out the ridiculous bear North and his friends who try to stop a maniacal developer from building luxury condos in the Arctic.

AceShowbiz - Lionsgate has released the first trailer for its animated movie "Norm of the North". The film is much in the vein of DreamWorks's "Madagascar" as it features a funny story about a bear named Norm who tries to preserve his habitat from the construction of fancy buildings.

Norm finds out that humans are moving to his land and trying to develop giant buildings which can vanish their home. He and his friends go to New York in an attempt to convince human not to move to their land. "What gonna bear like me do in the city like this?" Norm says when he arrives in the city. Their adventure to the Big Apple turns out to be ridiculous as Norm and his friends disguise themselves as back-up dancers to garner people's support.

According to the official synopsis, "a polar bear of many words, Norm's greatest gripe is simple: there is no room for tourists in the Arctic. But when a maniacal developer threatens to build luxury condos in his own backyard, Norm does what all normal polar bears would do...he heads to New York City to stop it. With a cast of ragtag lemmings at his side, Norm takes on the big apple, big business and a big identity crisis to save the day."

Noah Fogelson produces the movie alongside Richard Rich while Steven Altiere and Daniel Altiere pen the script. Directed by Anthony Bell, "Norm of the North" is due to arrive in U.S. theaters on January 15, 2016.
