AceShowbiz - "True Detective" season 2 will conclude with a 90-minute episode next week. In a preview for the upcoming episode, Frank is up for something that one may see as a revenge or justice. He also has a meeting with Ray and is later being attacked in his car.
Following [SPOILER ALERT!] the death of Paul, it's now up to Ani and Ray to finish their investigation and catch the mastermind(s) behind the conspiracy. Ani is determined to get a confession and is seen being involved in a shooting in public.
"Omega Station" is set to air Sunday, August 9 at 9/8c on HBO.
Michael Lombardo, president of HBO programming, recently defended "True Detective" season 2 against backlashes from critics. "I think you need to watch the entirety of it," he said. "I have, and I think it's enormously satisfying. I have never been in the business of micromanaging the process. [Pizzolatto] is a bold storyteller, and I mean that only in the most positive ways. ... I think it pays off in this particular season."
