20th Century Fox has released a new clip for "The Fantastic Four" ahead of its release. Although there have been several clips and trailers released, the new clip shares details about the process of the titular characters' teleportation.
While the previously-released videos only featured a glimpse of how Reed Richards (Miles Teller), Sue Storm (Kate Mara), Johnny Storm (Michael B. Jordan) and Ben Grimm (Jamie Bell) teleport to other dimension, the new video shows their preparation.
The one-minute video gives a look at the team taking their special suits and helmets, wearing them, and heading to the teleportation machine while bringing a striped flag. "Strapped in and get comfy kids! We're about to make history," one of the Fantastic Four members says.
"The Fantastic Four" is the reboot of 2005's "Fantastic Four" which starred Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis. Just like the original version, the upcoming movie centers on four young outsiders who obtain unique physical abilities after they teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
Toby Kebbell, Tim Blake Nelson, Reg E. Cathey, Chet Hanks, Mary Rachel Dudley and Aaron V. Williamson are other names attached to the cast. Directed by Josh Trank, the sci-fi fantasy movie will be released in the U.S. on August 7.
