Ferrell plays 10 positions on 10 teams in one day in the HBO comedy special which was filmed during spring training.

AceShowbiz - Will Ferrell joins professional baseball players on the field in HBO's comedy special "Ferrell Takes the Field". A trailer for the documentary has now been released, showing the actor delivering a hilarious speech about him bringing passion to the field. He is seen arriving on a helicopter, trying to hit a ball, and pulling some jokes among some serious faces.

In "Ferrell Takes the Field", the 48-year-old comedian plays every position on the field for ten different teams in the same day. He plays for the Los Angles Dodgers and Angels, the Chicago Cubs and White Sox, the San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics, Seattle Mariners, Arizona Diamondbacks and Cincinnati Reds.

It was filmed during baseball spring training in Arizona, taking Ferrell to five different spring training ballparks. From Funny Or Die in partnership with Major League Baseball, the exclusive HBO presentation is dedicated to helping the charity Cancer for College.

"We hope to always be in the Will Ferrell business," says Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming. "This latest collaboration is one of those things only Will could pull off."

The special will air September 12 at 10 P.M. on HBO.
