Zayn Malik Joins Former Bandmates in Celebrating One Direction's Fifth Anniversary

Though Zayn is no longer a member of the famous British boyband, he joined his former bandmates to celebrate its fifth anniversary by re-tweeting posts from Liam Payne.

AceShowbiz - Zayn Malik may have left One Direction earlier this year but the bond with the group is apparently still there. On the fifth anniversary of the band, Zayn joined his former bandmates to celebrate it after he got a shout-out from Liam Payne.

"Wowwwww 5 years 5 boys what an amazing journey I couldn't thank you all ever enough," Liam wrote. "And thank you Louis Niall Harry and zayn for everything." Later on, Zayn responded with sweet gestures by re-tweeting the said post and replied, "@Real_Liam_Payne thanks bro ! x." The former member of 1D also re-tweeted another post by Liam which read, "Thanks for all the memories boys I love you all."

The other members of 1D also celebrated the band's anniversary on Twitter. Harry Styles wrote, "We have been a band for five years. And it is impossible to thank anyone enough for all the support they have given us over this time.."

Harry also honored crew, with whom the band has been working, and fans, who have been supportive throughout their career. "All the crew that we have been so lucky to work with, and everyone who is behind the scenes...To you who support us, in any way, thank you," he added.

Louis Tomlinson also thanked their fans for their support, "You have been by far the most incredible fanbase and nothing you do goes unnoticed . We are so lucky to have you guys ! Thanks so much :)." He also wrote a number of "thank you"s which he dubbed "My attempt of expressing how thankful we are for you guys !"

"You guys have changed our lives and we all love you so much ! Best fans on the planet , easy!" Niall Horan wrote. "Thanks to the boys too, we've seen and done some incredible things together, love you all !"
