The 38-year-old actress posts on Instagram an adorable black-and-white picture of her and the late actor hugging each other, along with a touching birthday message.

The said picture showed Gellar and Williams hugging each other just like a father and his daughter. They were smiling ear to ear in the black-and-white picture. A caption for the picture read, "Smile, though your heart is aching[.] Smile, even though it's breaking[.] Happy Birthday RW #RobinWilliams #HappyBirthdayRobin."

Fans responded positively to the picture and many of them wrote their own birthday messages to the late actor. User @marqueskey addressed Williams in her comment which read, "Miss you. Happy birthday. Thanks for making us smile. #robinwilliams #happybirthdayrobin." Another user @vegas_girl_33 also honored the late actor as saying, "I loved you guys in the crazy ones! Soo good! Robin williams is a legend and very missed! Happy 64th Birthday Robin Williams! Hope you're having a wonderful Birthday in heaven! We love you!"

On the previous day, Williams' daughter Zelda announced her hiatus from social media with a picture of big cloud with halo on Instagram. "I will be taking a break from social media in the coming weeks. It's a time better served away from the opinions or sentiments of others, and I appreciate your understanding," she wrote. "In my absence, I understand there will be those who wish to leave messages regarding Dad on my board, but please attempt to be respectful and kind to one another in the process, both because I will not be here to delete or mediate trolling, and because kindness is in short supply these days anyhow. Thanks guys. Buh-bye now!"
