The 92-year-old actress memorably worked with her ex-husband Kirk Douglas, two sons and grandson in the 2003 movie 'It Runs in the Family'.

AceShowbiz - Diana Douglas, the ex-wife of Kirk Douglas and the mother of Michael Douglas, passed away from cancer on Friday, July 3 at the Motion Picture & Television Country House and Hospital in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles. She was 92. Her husband Donald Webster confirmed the sad news on Saturday.

Diana memorably worked with Kirk and their two sons Michael and Joel Douglas in the 2003 movie "It Runs in the Family". She starred as the devoted matriarch Evelyn Gromberg opposite Kirk as her husband. Michael played Evelyn's son while Cameron Douglas starred as Evelyn's grandson. Joel, meanwhile, served as associated producer.

Diana tied the knot with Kirk in 1943. Following her divorce from Kirk in 1951, she got married to actor Bill Darrid in 1956 until his death in 1992. She then wed Donald in 2002.

Her big-screen credits also included "The Sign of the Ram" (1948), "House of Strangers" (1949), "Storm Over Tibet" (1952), "Monsoon" (1952), "Loving" (1970), "The Star Chamber" (1983) and "Planes, Trains & Automobiles" (1987). Her TV credits, meanwhile, included "The Web", "Naked City", "Flipper", "Kung Fu", "The Streets of San Francisco", "Barnaby Jones", "Lou Grant", "Cagney & Lacey", "The West Wing" and "ER".

A memorial service for Diana will be held in Los Angeles at a date to be announced.
