Liam Garrigan, who starred on '24: Live Another Day', will make his first appearance in the fifth season premiere of the ABC series.

AceShowbiz - "Once Upon a Time" has found its King Arthur. The fantasy drama series has reportedly tapped British actor Liam Garrigan to take on the recurring role. He will make his debut in the season 5 premiere of the ABC series.

The show's King Arthur is described as a "good and just ruler" who, beneath the surface, is "a master manipulator who can carry a grudge to the grave." He bears an "eternal burning love" for Guinevere that borders on controlling.

Executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis tell EW, "As we do on 'Once Upon a Time', we're doing our own twist on Camelot, on Arthur's background and on his relationships with Merlin, Guinevere and Lancelot." Lancelot (Sinqua Walls) first appeared in season 2, while the role of Guinevere has not been cast yet.

Camelot will play a big role in the upcoming season of "Once Upon a Time" as it was revealed in the fourth season finale that the mysterious Sorcerer, who may be able to save Emma (Jennifer Morrison), is actually Merlin, King Arthur's mentor.

"Once Upon a Time" returns with new episodes starting Sunday, September 27 at 8 P.M. ET on ABC.
