Cheryl Burke becomes the latest one to cut ties with Donald Trump. The "Dancing with the Stars" pro-dancer steps down from Miss USA Pageant as a co-host after the business mogul made negative remarks on Mexican immigrants.

"In light of the recent statements made by Donald Trump and the subsequent decision by NBC to cut ties with Mr. Trump, I cannot in good conscience move forward with participating in this year's Miss USA Pageant as its co-host," she says in a statement.

"Effective today I have withdrawn from my duties with Miss USA. Although I will not be there in person, I wish all of the contestants much luck as I know how hard they’ve all been working over the last year to try and realize their dreams."

NBC and Univision will no longer air the beauty contest following Trump's controversial remarks. Mexican media giant, Televisa, also cut ties with the business magnate. On top of that, Mexico will not participate in Miss Universe.

Miss USA contest is planned to go as scheduled in Baton Rouge on July 12.
