Caitlyn Jenner attended a New York City Pride event on Sunday, June 28. The former Olympic athlete visited the Dream Downtown Hotel penthouse for a party sponsored by Steele Luxury Travel.
The 65-year-old reality TV star wore a chic white dress and let down her wavy brunette hair. Caitlyn went there with six girlfriends. The crowd cheered as she entered the venue. She showed big smile and waved her hands to them. "Everyone started chanting, 'Caitlyn, Caitlyn,' " a fellow party-goer told E! News. "She got up and waved and smiled at everyone." Caitlyn looked a bit shy due to the attention given to her.

During the event, actress Candis Cayne sang "I Am a Woman" to Jenner as the crowd cheered. "Everyone was cheering and then Caitlyn got up and took some selfies," the source added. Earlier that day, Candis got a chance to greet Caitlyn while the latter was filming on the balcony for her upcoming reality show, "I Am Cait".
Despite her appearance at the party, Caitlyn wasn't spotted at the Gay Pride Parade held on the same day. The parade was a celebration following the U.S. Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage. On Friday, June 26, the Supreme Court decided to legalize same-sex marriage across the nation. The U.S., thus, has become the most populous country to legalize the same-sex marriage.
