'At the time when I was going through the divorce I did say to everyone, 'You guys I think our careers are over. I hope you've saved your money,' ' Kim said in an interview with The Drum.

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian opened up about her failed marriage to Kris Humphries. Sitting with WPP Ceo Sir Martin Sorrell for The Drum, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star revealed the divorce left her thinking that her family's business and show would meet its doom.

"At the time when I was going through the divorce I did say to everyone, 'You guys I think our careers are over. I hope you've saved your money. And now we'll just continue to do our clothing stores and continue to do what we started off doing before the show,' " Kim told the businessman.

"I totally thought it was over," the expecting star added. "I was being very paranoid. I just took some time off and the time was really good for me. I canceled everything. I had a book tour, I had a fragrance launch, I had everything that you could possibly imagine and I just canceled it all and I took time for me."

Kim and Kris got married in August 2011 in Montecito, Calif after being engaged only for 90 days. The lavish wedding was documented in E! Special episode "Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event". However, they called it quits in October, only 72 days after the wedding. Their divorce was finally finalized in April 2013.

Addressing the split on her blog in November 2011, Kim said that she "got caught up with the hoopla. I felt like I was on a fast roller coaster and couldn't get off when now I know I probably should have."
