FIFA scandal is going to be turned into a movie, The Hollywood Reporter learns. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon team up to produce the true-story soccer drama for Warner Brothers. It's based on "Houses of Deceit", a book by BuzzFeed's reporter Ken Bensinger.

The film will revolve around FIFA exec Chuck Blazer and his role in the largest sports and public corruption scandal in history. Gavin O'Connor, who directed Affleck in "The Accountant", is attached at the helm while Anthony Tambakis is on board to write the script.

No casting is announced but Bensinger would love to see someone like John Goodman to bring "fury and comedy to the role." No release date is set for the film either but the book is expected to hit bookstores in 2017.
