Donald Trump fires back at Univision after the company decided not to air Miss USA pageant and any other beauty pageants tied to his Trump organization. The business magnate plans to take legal action after Univision made the drastic move to sever ties with Miss Universe Organization which he co-owns.

"I'm going to have to sue Univision now because I speak negatively about trade with Mexico," the business mogul told FOX News. "Univision says you have to stop talking badly about Mexico ... They have a signed contract." He also said, "They can't do this. They want me to stop saying the facts."

His special counsel, Michael Cohen, voiced similar statement, "We intend to pursue all legal rights and remedies available to us pursuant to the terms of the license agreement."

In his initial response on Facebook, Trump accused Mexican government of forcing Univision to cut ties with Miss Universe. "Mexican government doesn't want me talking about terrible border situation & horrible trade deals. Forcing Univision to get me to stop- no way!" he wrote.

He later added in a newer post, "Univision wants to back out of signed Miss Universe contract because I exposed the terrible trade deals that the U.S. makes with Mexico. I love Mexico but not the unfair trade deals that the U.S. so stupidly makes with them. Really bad for U.S. jobs, only good for Mexico."

Univision reportedly had signed a new five-year deal for Spanish-language broadcast rights of Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants. The deal is valued at $15 million and the company had allegedly paid a $2.5-million fee to cover its commitment this year. The broadcaster declined to comment on the financial ramifications for backing out of the deal.
