Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg Fight in 'Daddy's Home' First Trailer
Movie

Brad (Ferrel) is a good stepfather to his wife's children before the kid's real father, Dusty (Wahlberg), comes and ruins everything.

AceShowbiz - Paramount has released the first full trailer for its comedy "Daddy's Home". Starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, the comedy highlights the fight between two fathers to win children's affections.

The trailer opens with Brad (Ferrel) expressing his excitement to be a father. Brad is a mild-mannered stepfather to his wife's two adorable children. He seems to be a good stepfather until the children's biological father, Dusty (Wahlberg), visits them.

"There is no way this man is not your better in every way," a Spanish man tells Brad in an airport when he picks up Dusty. The two compete to win the children's affections with their own way. There's a hilarious scene when Dusty tells the children, "There is someone here now that I hope you guys can learn to love," while referring to a puppy instead of Brad. The trailer also includes a scene that's already gone viral which features Ferrell's character hitting a cheerleader (played by Taryn Terrell) in the face with a basketball.

When talking about the movie ahead of the trailer's release on Yahoo, Ferrell actually connected "Daddy's Home" to another comedy, "This one is kind of in the zone of 'Meet the Parents' in that it's pretty relatable in terms of the scenarios and relationships in it. The comedy still sometimes gets in the ceiling, though."

In the meantime, Wahlberg couldn't wait to collaborate with Ferrel while revisiting his collaboration with Ferrel in "The Other Guys". "Doing my first comedy was 'The Other Guys', other than that little bit I did in 'Date Night', and I always felt how much Will had my back and I was in good hands to risk trying anything," Wahlberg said. He added, "You don't have to worry about looking ridiculous because you know you're in good hands."

Wahlberg and Ferrel lead the cast which includes Linda Cardellini, Paul Scheer, Hannibal Buress, LaMonica Garrett and Billy Slaughter. Directed by Sean Anders, the movie is slated for a U.S. release on December 25.
