The stand-up comedian who stars on web series 'The Maria Bamford Show' will headline new comedy 'Lady Dynamite' from the 'Arrested Development' creator.

AceShowbiz - Maria Bamford, who recently guest starred on "Fresh Off the Boat", is getting her own series. The stand-up comedian will star on new comedy "Lady Dynamite" which has obtained a 13-episode series order from Netflix.
The single-camera half-hour comedy is executive produced by "Arrested Development" creator Mitch Hurwitz, Bamford and Pam Brady. It "is based on what Bamford has accepted to be 'her life.' The occasionally surreal episodes, refracted across multiple periods inspired by the actor/comedian's life, tell the story of a woman who loses - and then finds - her s**t."
No premiere date is set for the new comedy series just yet.
Bamford previously starred on web series "The Maria Bamford Show" and appeared as DeBrie Bardeaux, Tobias Funke's love interest, on "Arrested Development" season 4.
