YG was allegedly shot in the hip when he was leaving a recording session in the Studio City around 1:45 A.M. He had someone from his entourage drive him to a nearby hospital after somehow managing to pull himself into his car.

Police were called after the incident. They found "multiple shell casings and blood on the sidewalk." No one has been arrested regarding the shooting. The rapper was reportedly "very uncooperative" when police tried to interview him.
