'Pretty Little Liars' 6.02 Preview: The Girls Doubt Their Escape
TV

While Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer are wondering if they're hallucinating, Alison questions who Charles is.

AceShowbiz - "Pretty Little Liars" is back. On Tuesday, June 2, the show kicked off the sixth season and revealed the fate of the girls after being kidnapped by "A". In the season opener, [SPOILER ALERT!] they managed to escape after setting the dollhouse on fire.

When the show returns next week, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer are recovering in hospital and talk about what happened to them. After physically and psychologically tormented during the kidnapping, the girls still couldn't believe that they managed to escape and are wondering if they're hallucinating.

Meanwhile, Alison poses the important question about who Charles is.

"Song of Innocence" airs Tuesday, June 9 at 8/7c on ABC Family. According to the official synopsis, "The girls may have gotten out of the Dollhouse but what happened to them during their time of captivity has lasting effects. With worried loved ones watching over them, the PLLs are home and trying to heal, with not much success. Even with suspected tormentor Andrew in custody, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer fear they are far from safe. Meanwhile, Alison must deal with her past indiscretions and her notoriety around Rosewood."

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Sasha Pieterse who plays Ali says of Charles, "There's some crazy revelations that happen and I can confirm that Charles DiLaurentis is definitely related to us. In the beginning, Alison has no idea who Charles is, so when the girls finally are home and released, it's up to her really to ask all these crazy questions-and try and find out why no one has told her who this person is, and how he fits on their family tree."

She also tells Us Weekly, "I honestly think Charles is the A, but knowing [series creator] Marlene [King], I might be wrong. My favorite theory is that Charles and Maya [Emily's ex-girlfriend who died in season 2] are working together." She goes on explaining, "After Maya died, I've constantly heard theories that she faked her death and she's part of The A Team. I think it's pretty brilliant actually. You never saw her dead body, you only saw her body bag. You never know!"
