Kim says Pharrell Williams and his wife Helen 'saved' her life after they jumped to help when her dress was caught on fire at the CFDA Fashion Awards.

Kim Kardashian had a fire emergency at CFDA Fashion Awards at New York's Lincoln Center on Monday, June 1. Her designer dress was caught on fire during the dinner, and Pharrell Williams & his wife Helen Lasichanh helped put it out.
"S/o to Pharrell & Helen! After the awards the feathers of my dress caught on fire & they jumped on me to get it out," she tweeted. She added on Instagram, "Shout out to Pharrell & Helen who saved my life last night! LOL After the awards at dinner the feathers of my dress caught on fire from a candle & they jumped on me to get it out!"

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star who is currently expecting her second child with husband Kanye West wore a black see-through Proenza Schouler dress with feather-like fringe at the shoulders. Her rapper matched her look with dark outfit.
At the event, Kanye presented Pharrell with Fashion Icon award while his wife Kim presented Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom with Media award. "So proud of you @kevin for winning the Media Award last night at the @cfda's. It was an honor to present it to you!" she gushed on Twitter.
