After teasing it with some previews, Mariah Carey has finally premiered the long-awaited official music video of her new single "Infinity". Arriving on Vevo on early Tuesday morning, June 2, the clip was directed by Brett Ratner and features guest appearances from Tyson Beckford and "Empire" star Jussie Smollett.
In the video, the scenes of the queen of Las Vegas performing onstage in a plunging sparkly dress intersperse with ones of her relaxing backstage. She uses Match.com to find the man of her dreams and later some potential suitors show up in front of her door.
Shirtless Beckford, who visits Carey while holding a bouquet of flowers, fails to impress the diva. Another man faces a similar fate before Smollett arrives dressing in a dapper suit while wearing glasses and carrying a cute puppy. She takes the dog and shuts the door in his face.
"Infinity", which allegedly is about Carey's ex Nick Cannon, appears on her "#1 to Infinity" album which was released last month. It is the only new song off the record, which includes her 18 No. 1 singles on Billboard Hot 100 chart.
