Just a day after announcing her pregnancy, Kim Kardashian alongside husband Kanye West made their red carpet appearance at the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday, June 1. The two looked matching, dressed in black, and Mrs. West didn't seem to shy to show a slight baby bump.
Kim stole the spotlight with her see-through custom Proenza Schouler dress. Her dress featured white eyelet cut-outs and feather-like fringe at the shoulders. She paired her dress with high heels featuring similar white eyelet cut-outs. Prior to her red carpet appearance, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star expressed her excitement about her chic dress on Twitter. She tweeted, "Heading to @CFDA awards! Wearing the sickest custom dress from @proenzaschouler !!!!!"
This is not the first ultra-sexy dress the reality TV star wears for her red carpet appearance. Last month, North West's mother became the center of attention for wearing a white backless gown with a floral lace at the 2015 Met Gala.
While Mrs. West appeared in a very eye-catchy dress at the CFDA Awards, Kanye made it a bit simple. The 37-year-old rapper dressed in a plain black jacket. His monochromatic sneakers looked fancy, contrasting with his black outfit.
On the red carpet, Kim shared with E! News how she told her husband about her pregnancy. She said, "I took a pregnancy test and then took a shower. I looked by the sink and I said, 'Babe I'm pregnant!' " The reality TV star also told daughter North that there's a baby in her belly, but Kim said, "North doesn't understand yet."
At the CFDA Awards, Kim was assigned to present the Media Award to Instagram founder Kevin Systrom.
