Jerry Stiller, along with children Ben and Amy Stiller, announces that the 'Archie Bunker's Place' star passed away over the weekend.

AceShowbiz - Ben Stiller is mourning the loss of his mother, Anne Meara. The actress/comedian married to actor Jerry Stiller passed away on Saturday, May 23. "The Stiller family is deeply saddened to share the beloved Anne Meara passed away last night at the age of 85," the family announced.

"She is survived by her husband and partner in life Jerry Stiller. The two were married for 61 years and worked together almost as long. Anne's memory lives on in the hearts of daughter Amy, son Ben, her grandchildren, her extended family and friends, and the millions she entertained as an actress, writer and comedienne."

Anne Meara and Jerry Stiller were known as comedy duo Stiller and Meara. She had recurring roles on "Sex and the City" and "The King of Queens" where her husband Jerry was a regular. She also appeared in some of the movies starring her son, like "Zoolander" and "Night at the Museum". She was an Emmy nominee and Writers Guild Award winner.
