Montel Williams blasts Josh Duggar for his apparent kid molestations. The host of "The Montel Williams Show" launches Twitter rants against the "19 Kids and Counting" star in the wake of his recent sexual assault apology.
Recent reports claimed that Duggar sexually assaulted several underage girls, reportedly including her sisters, when he was a teenager. Later on Thursday, May 21, Duggar and his famous family released public statement to apologize for his "inexcusable" misbehavior. Along with the statement, Duggar also announced his exit from conservative Christian Family Research Council (FRC).
Shortly after the apology statement was issued, Williams slammed Duggar for being hypocrite. "BREAKING: Josh Duggar, a world class bigot, admits sexually abusing young girls - has consistently stated that LGBT folks r danger to kids," Williams tweeted. "Gosh, yet another anti-gay alleged 'Christian' defender turns out to be a garden variety scumbag."
The radio talk show host continued, "Sorry, Josh Duggar is a bigot, slimebag. Whole family is, and [Family Research Council] is a scam. Yup, Gay people are the danger to kids? NOPE, JOSH DUGGAR IS." Later, when a Twitter user asked if there were any "room in [his] heart to forgive" Duggar, Williams replied, "When @joshduggar makes amends to the #lgbt community for his faux-Christian hypocrisy I'll be pleased to do so. #Hypocrite."
"How do u preach gay people are 'danger to kids' KNOWING and lying about sexually assaulting kids urself & not b what I called him?" he added. "Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven."
He concluded, "The entire purpose of my rant about Josh Duggar is to illustrate a simple truth: Everything we judge we walk through."
