Contrary to earlier reports, sources close to Tiger Woods claim he didn't cheat on Lindsey Vonn and their separation didn't include infidelity issue. "I know everyone is hoping for a cheating scandal, but it's not," said a source of Woods' circle. "There was no real drama."

"This was just a relationship that didn't last," the source explained to PEOPLE. "It didn't work out. They moved apart." In line with the claim, another source close to Woods added, "What Tiger and Lindsey said is true: they have busy schedules and busy lives, and that sunk their relationship. But they don't hate each other. Not at all."

Still according to the first source, Woods' recent separation from Vonn was not his choice and the golfer "is really disappointed that it didn't work out." Though so, "he respects Lindsey and understands why it had to end," the source added to PEOPLE.

Tiger Woods, 39, and Lindsey Vonn, 30, announced their separation earlier this month after three years of dating. Claiming the split was mutual, the couple cited their "incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart" as the major cause. Following their separation, there were reports that claimed Woods cheated on Vonn with "faceless, nameless woman" during their time apart. Neither of the stars has addressed the infidelity reports though.
