Maynard confirms that she and husband Johnson are expecting a baby boy, but they are still 'compromising' on a possible name.

AceShowbiz - It's a boy for Emily Maynard and her husband Tyler Johnson. The former "The Bachelorette" star confirmed the sex of the baby she is carrying during a recent interview with "WCCB Charlotte News". The confirmation came two months after she posted a picture of her gender reveal cake on Instagram.
"It's a boy," the expectant mother told anchor Morgan Fogarty. And when being asked on possible names for her upcoming son, who is due to arrive in July, Maynard revealed, "Well, we are going back and forth. I told Tyler that (if) he gets to pick the last name for everybody, then I should pick the first name and if he wanted to pick the first name, then it can take my last name and be a Maynard! He did not like that. So. We're still compromising."
In fact, nothing could lessen Maynard's excitement of welcoming a new addition into her family. "The most different thing for me will be having Tyler here to help. I raised Ricki by myself and it's just been the two of us for so long," she stated. "I'm just really excited to be present. When Ricki was born, it was a really hard time in my life, and I was so young that I really don't think I enjoyed it or soaked it in as much as I wish I could have -all those sweet baby moments." She went on adding, "I'm just really looking forward to getting up with him and feeding him. Ask me after he's been here for a month if I'm still excited, but right now, that's what I'm looking forward to."
Maynard wed management consultant Johnson in June 2014. She announced her pregnancy with their first child in early January this year. Maynard also has a daughter Ricky, 9, with late fiance NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick, who died in a plane crash in 2004, just days before she found out she was pregnant with their baby girl.
