Parker puts the rumors of her filming a new 'Sex and the City' movie to rest just a day after her Instagram picture sparked the rumors.

Sarah Jessica Parker sparked "Sex and the City 3" rumors as she posted a picture of her carrying a bag outside Bloomingdales on Instagram on Monday, May 11. Just a day after she posted the picture, the 50-year-old actress clarified the misunderstanding by posting a new picture of her standing atop the store's awning.
While the rumors-inciting picture was posted on her Instagram account, the picture which included clarification was posted on her SJP Collection shoeline's Instagram account. The latest picture let people know that the previous picture had something to do with her shoe line.
A caption for the photo read, "Or even better, from the iconic @bloomingdales awning. Welcome to New York, @sjpcollection. You're going to love it here. Finally, a permanent home in NYC. Ps. Forgive me for any previous misunderstandings. Twenty lashes with a wet noodle.Yours forever, Sj x." The previous picture was also taken to promote her SJP Collection which would be soon available at Bloomingdales.
After rumors spread that SJP was filming "SATC 3", Warner Bros. explained that the picture had nothing to do with a "Sex and the City" movie. The said picture featured her leaving Bloomingdales store. The photo caption read, "Well. I guess the cat's out of the (little brown) bag. As usual, we will keep you posted on every detail as we are able. I'm under a strict gag order until then. Xx, Sj."
Before her recent pictures, Parker was known to use her character in "Sex and the City", Carrie Bradshaw, to promote her SJP Collection shoe line. Last year, she posted on her Instagram account a picture of her sitting on a stoop with a collection of shoes and captioned it, "It was take your @sjpcollection shoes to work day. #longdayforCarrie #whewwwwthosesteps #runninginheels #taxi!"
