Prince Harry is so proud of his newborn niece and has gushed about her. The 30-year-old royal said via Kensington Palace, "She is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to meet her."

The royal couple has since received well wishes from many, including US President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama. And on behalf of Prince William and Kate, the palace has tweeted, "The Duke and Duchess are hugely grateful for the messages of congratulations they have received from people all over the world. However, a family friend has informed, PEOPLE, they will not do that because it would "cause a stir." The family friend was quoted as saying, "I think they're more traditional than that. I would think they would go with a more royal name. I love the idea of Alice," adding, "I wouldn't read anything into that - just that the'll go for a royal name."
