'Breaking Bad' series creator Vince Gilligan says there 'is a talk of a Pollos Hermanos becoming a real restaurant.'

AceShowbiz - Walter White may have ended his meth business, but "Breaking Bad" boss could gain more profits from the show. Series creator Vince Gilligan recently revealed that real Los Pollos Hermanos restaurant, which was featured on the AMC series, could happen.

"[T]here is talk of a Pollos Hermanos becoming a real restaurant," he wrote during a Reddit AMA on Thursday, April 30. "This is not an idea that I generated personally. But it's one that's been presented to me, through the good folks at Sony, and the idea came to them from a businessman who has an interest in doing just that." He added, "Speaking for myself, I'd love to see that happen!"

On the same occasion, fans also aksed why Gilligan didn't create a "Breaking Bad" spin-off centering on Gus Fring, the owner of fast-food chain Los Pollos Hermanos. "I have to admit, a spin-off series about Gus Fring would be a good idea," he responded.

"There's no perfect answer to that question, other than to say that creating a spin-off series related to Saul Goodman was an idea that we batted around pretty much since the creation of the character. We always loved writing for Saul Goodman throughout the run of 'Breaking Bad'," he further explained. "Now we find writing for Jimmy McGill, he's so good with words that writing his dialogue is great fun, too. But you're right, Gus could carry his own story. I wish there were more hours in the day, so that we'd be able to do ALL these shows!"

Gilligan, who was a writer and executive producer on "The X-Files", additionally confirmed that he wouldn't be involved in the upcoming revival. "Unfortunately I won't be writing for the reboot, because my work on 'Better Call Saul' will keep me from doing that," he shared. "I'm very sad to miss out, because I would love to have a hand in 'The X-Files' reboot. 'The X-Files' was my second favorite job ever, a close second to 'Breaking Bad' and 'Better Call Saul', and I'd love to be a part of it. Rest assured, I will be watching it as a fan. I can't wait to see it."
