'Chicago Med' from 'Chicago Fire' producer Dick Wolf, a thriller starring Jaimie Alexander called 'Blindspot' and another medical drama titled 'Heartbreaker' are added to the network's line-up.

AceShowbiz - NBC has added three drama series to its line-up for the 2015-16 TV season. The network has greenlit the latest "Chicago Fire" spin-off "Chicago Med", "Blindspot" as well as another medical drama "Heartbreaker".

"Chicago Med", from "Chicago Fire" producer Dick Wolf, is promised to present "an emotional thrill ride through the day-to-day chaos of the city's most explosive hospital and the courageous team of doctors who hold it together." Yaya DaCosta, S. Epatha Merkerson, Oliver Platt and Laurie Holden are among the cast.

"Blindspot" is executive produced by Greg Berlanti ("Arrow", "The Flash", "The Mysteries of Laura"). On the center of the story is Jaimie Alexander's character, who is discovered naked in Times Square, completely covered in mysterious, intricate tattoos with no memory of who she is or how she got there. It's revealed that each mark represents a crime to solve. Also starring on the thriller are Sullivan Stapleton, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Ashley Johnson, Rob Brown, Audrey Esparza and Ukweli Roach.

"Heartbreaker" (previously titled "Heart Matters") is based on the real life of Dr. Kathy Magliato. It follows Dr. Alex Panttiere (Melissa George), a "stubborn and fearless" heart-transplant surgeon with a "racy" personal life. Dave Annable, Don Hany, Shelley Conn, Maya Erskine, Jamie Kennedy, Joshua Leonard, J. Louis Mills, Rudy Martinez and D.L. Hughley also star on this so-called character-driven medical drama.
