Netflix has picked up an animated series based on the best-selling 1960 book "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seuss. Netflix vice president of original content Cindy Holland announces the project in Dr. Seuss' style.

"Green Eggs and Ham" follows an unnamed character who is convinced by a character known as "Sam-I-Am" to try the titular meal in several locations. Voice cast for the TV adaptation has not been announced yet.

"The Lego Movie Sequel" co-writer Jared Stern will pen the script. He will also serve as an executive producer along with DeGeneres, Jeff Kleeman, Mike Karz and David Dobkin.
