Ansel Elgort is pursuing one of the lead roles in "Dukes of Oxy" with Michael De Luca in talks to produce. The movie is an adaptation of a Rolling Stone article about the true story of teen high schoolers, Doug Dodd and Lance Barabas, from Florida who built a multimillion-dollar drug-selling business.

Early on, an ex-con relative gave the duo some tips in the business like not talking on the phone and not dealing with strangers. But as their empire grew and they spent much time getting high on their own supply, they eventually broke all the rules and got caught when law enforcement began to crack down on the runaway problem of a black market for painkillers. Elgort is eying to play Dodd.

Ansel Egort was seen starring opposite Shailene Woodley in "Divergent" and "The Fault in Our Stars" last year. He recently reprised his role as her on-screen brother in "The Divergent Series: Insurgent".
