AceShowbiz - David Beckham is rumored to be planning a lavish star-studded party in Marrakech, Morocco to celebrate his 40th birthday on Saturday, May 2. According to The Sun, David will jet his family and friends to his favorite five-star resort.
David and his wife Victoria Adams reportedly will fly to Morroco in the next weekend. While the exact location is still unknown, the former professional soccer player has told his family and friend to keep the weekend free. A source tells the paper, "He'll only turn 40 once so he wants to do it in style. Morocco is a place close to his heart."
Among those who will be jetted to Morroco are Tom Cruise, Dave Gardner and his girlfriend Liv Tyler, Guy Ritchie, Gordon Ramsay and Manchester United teammate Gary Neville. According to the paper, David and his friends will be checking into the luxury Amanjena resort, where he and Victoria renewed their wedding vows in 2008.
Having a 33-meter outdoor pool, the resort is located in five-star surroundings. While the hotel's restaurant offers Morrocan and Mediterranean cuisine, the guests can enjoy a Thai restaurant and a cigar bar on the site. There is also a boutique and spa where the girls can enjoy their leisure time, and a 27-hole championship golf course for David and friends fancying a round.
