Listed as one of PEOPLE magazine's 2015 Most Beautiful People, Carrie Underwood once made a beauty mistake back when she was 13 years old. And from that time on, she learned not to repeat the same mistake in the future, especially now that she has become one of Hollywood famous celebrities.
"When I was 13, I got a perm, and it was a big mistake - shocker!" the country songstress told PEOPLE in a statement. "It wasn't my first perm, but it most definitely was my last. It took my hair a while to recover, but I learned my lesson - no more perms!" she recalled.
Underwood, who started her professional singing career by becoming one of the many contestants in "American Idol", is known not only for her singing talent and award-winning music projects, but also for her flawless and fabulous red carpet appearances. She is currently juggling her singing career with motherhood after she gave birth to son Isaiah Michael Fisher, with husband Mike Fisher, on February 27 this year.
