Both West and Swift are returning honorees on the yearly list which also includes President Obama and Pope Francis among many others.

AceShowbiz - Time magazine's 2015 100 Most Influential People list was revealed on Thursday, April 16 and it included famous names from various fields, ranging from film stars to singers to politicians. Among the celebrities making the annual list were Kanye West and songstress Taylor Swift. In addition to the two musicians, there were Bradley Cooper, Kim Kardashian, Emma Watson, as well as Reese Witherspoon.
West, who landed the magazine's cover of its 100 Most Influential People issue, was credited by entrepreneur Elon Musk as "the first person to tell you he belongs on this list. The dude doesn't believe in false modesty, and he shouldn't. Kanye's belief in himself and his incredible tenacity-he performed his first single with his jaw wired shut-got him to where he is today."
Actress Mariska Hargitay, whose "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" character had inspired the name of Swift's cat Meredith, had nothing but praise for her. Swift "seems tuned in to the greater good, and she embraces-thoughtfully and authentically-the chance to contribute to the world," she wrote about her.
Cooper, who graced the print's media separate cover, was praised by fellow actor Oliver Platt for his acting skills. "It's hard to make people, especially your friends, forget who you are onscreen. But Bradley's that good. And I think we've seen only a hint of what's to come," Platt wrote on Time. He even called Cooper, who co-starred with him on TV show "Nip/Tuck", a "cinematic chameleon."
In addition to those names, there were director Richard Linklater, Hillary Clinton, Pope Francis, and President Barack Obama. The last two were returning honorees on the yearly list. Time magazine's 2015 100 Most Influential People issue already hits the newsstands.
