Less than a year after giving birth to daughter River Rose, Kelly Clarkson has opened up about wanting to have another kid, and this time she wants a baby boy. "Honestly the only reason I am hoping for a boy is because they usually say if you're sick with a girl, you won't be with the boy. And if you are sick with the boy, you won't be with the girl," she said during an interview on Zach Sang & the Gang's radio show.

"I'm purely hoping it is a boy so I can have the most magically wonderful pregnancy," the "American Idol" alum shared. "My body shut down when I'm pregnant, it was the worst. It was really hard, just physically couldn't stop vomiting," Clarkson added when recalling her first pregnancy.

In other news, Clarkson said during an interview with Radio Disney, airing Friday, April 10, that her daughter River had never slept in her and husband Brandon Blackstock's bed. "A friend of mine was like, 'Our kid sleeps with us every night; it's this whole new way of life,' which is great for her," the 32-year-old singer revealed. "But in my world, we're sleeping. I don't want my kid rolling over and hitting me in the face. That's not good sleep."

Clarkson continued explaining, "She's been in her own bed; she's never slept with us ever. I'm just very adamant about that, even to create her independence and her own identity and to be safe in her own room." She added, "I don't want to create a kid that's stuck to my leg."
