Madonna's "Ghosttown" video was supposed to come out on Tuesday, April 7. The diva was expected to debut it on Meerkat, but she ended up disappointing her fans when something went wrong with live-streaming app. Those who visited her Meerkat page right before the premiere were met with either a blank or 500 error page.

Some fans later expressed their frustration on Twitter. "What a big a** fail Madonna and Meerkat..., You Tube like always f**k tidal f**k meerkat,(thanks god I'm not even a fan,I would b pissed AF)," a user wrote while also taking a jab at Jay-Z's Tidal. "@Madonna I feel very #disappointed about #Goshttown on #meerkat , I was waiting for the video and It never happened," another added.

Following the fail, Madonna has given Meerkat another chance. Later on Tuesday, she told her fans that she'd still release the video via the app on Wednesday. "In 18 hours: Just one more day until the mad mad world premiere of the new video for 'Ghosttown'," she tweeted.

Following up "Living for Love", "Ghosttown" is the second single off "Rebel Heart", Madge's latest album which debuted at No. 2 on Billboard 200 following its release last month. The 56-year-old diva delivered the first live performance of the ballad during the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards last week. At that time, she was joined onstage by Taylor Swift who assisted her on guitar.
