It is surprising to know that Robert Pattinson and FKA twigs are engaged after dating for only six months. The latest news reveals that they are arranging a plan for their wedding this summer.
A source tells PEOPLE that twigs "wants something quite informal, like a pub wedding," while Pattinson's parents "would really like a church wedding." However, the source adds that plans are "not definite."
The wedding news of the "Twilight" star surprised his fans. Some of them were disappointed to know that the British heartthrob would tie the knot with twigs. They hoped that Pattinson was still seeing his ex-girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, while others have been reportedly showing their frustation on the social media. Some fans even expressed their anger on FKA twigs' Twitter account.
On the other hand, Pattinson's family is happy to know that Pattinson finally got a better lover. An insider opened up to Hollywood Life, "Robert's family are very supportive of his engagement to twigs. They think she's great for him, and are happy that it wasn't Kristen in the end because they didn't have the same feeling for her they have for twigs," the insider said.
The insider added, "It's no secret that Robert's sisters Lizzy and Victoria found it especially difficult to communicate with Kristen and build a relationship with her. However, twigs is far more open and easy to get on with."
