Having been working on showbiz for years, it was not until last week that Jason Statham officially joined Instagram. Launching his account on Saturday, March 21, the hunk has reached 185k followers thus far.
Marking his debut on the popular social media, Statham posted a photo of himself with what looked like a tank on the background. He captioned the first pic, "This is my first official post on Instagram. Sorry to those that have been following the string of phonies pretending to be me. From now on its real. Cheers."
Following in Statham's footsteps is fellow celebrity Salma Hayek who has confirmed to be joining Instagram on Tuesday, March 24. The movie beauty will be using the name of @salmahayek.
Personal life aside, Statham can next be seen reprising his role as Ian Shaw in the highly anticipated film "Furious 7". The action-adventure flick is set to be released on April 3 in the United States.
