Filming Date and Synopsis of 'Captain America: Civil War' Unveiled

The casting notices issued to seek for extras for the film enlist April 1 as the date when the film's production is set to commence.

AceShowbiz - "Captain America: Civil War" won't be hitting theaters until May 6 next year, but shooting on the much anticipated flick has been planned to be kicked off on April 1. According to Collider, a casting call for extras in the Atlanta area has begun. It is looking for "many ethnicities" with the casting notices enlisting the start date of the production.

In addition to the shooting date, synopsis for the superhero action fantasy feature film has been unearthed. "Following the events of 'Age of Ultron', the collective governments of the world pass an act designed to regulate all superhuman activity. This polarizes opinion amongst the Avengers, causing two factions to side with Iron Man or Captain America, which causes an epic battle between former allies," so read the synopsis as stated in the casting notices.

"Captain America: Civil War" will be having "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" helmers Anthony Russo and Joe Russo returning as directors. The cast ensemble consist of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as Falcon, and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye. In the meantime, actor Daniel Bruhl has been rumored to be playing Baron Zemo.
